IS THIS SPEAKER PORTABLE?
No, the Acton II Bluetooth isn't portable, it doesn't have a battery. But we do offer portable speakers here .
CAN I PAIR THIS WITH MORE THAN ONE OTHER SPEAKER TO CREATE A MULTI-GROUP?
It can be paired with one other Acton II Bluetooth for ambient or stereo sound; they can't be used in Multi-Groups of more than two speakers.
IS THERE AN APP FOR THIS SPEAKER?
Yes, this speaker can be used with the Marshall Bluetooth app.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACTON BLUETOOTH AND ACTON II BLUETOOTH?
The Acton II Bluetooth has had some upgrades compared to the Acton Bluetooth:
- The Acton II Bluetooth has a different design (aesthetics) and you can use the Marshall Bluetooth app to control the speaker
- The Acton II Bluetooth uses Bluetooth v5.0 while the Acton Bluetooth uses Bluetooth v4.0
- The Acton II Bluetooth speakers can be used two at a time with one device to play in either Ambient (two speakers are synchronised to play the same audio) or Stereo (two speakers of the same size are coupled as a stereo pair) mode.
Please note that the Marshall Bluetooth App will only connect with the Acton II Bluetooth, Stanmore II Bluetooth and Woburn II Bluetooth speakers. It does not support any other Marshall Speakers.
